onn soundbar to onn roku tv

When I try to connect my recently bought Onn 36" 5.1 soundbar to my 58" Onn Roku tv the hdmi arc says no signal, and I have no sound coming out of the soundbar, I'm hooked up through hdmi arc on both systems, the soundbar remote will raise and lower the sound on the tv but I dont have anything coming through the soundbar

Re: onn soundbar to onn roku tv

Go into the menu of the tv, refresh the cec devices:

settings> system> control other devices (CEC)> search for CEC devices> ok

I’m having the same issue. Did you ever get this resolved?

Re: onn soundbar to onn roku tv

So I just bought the onn sound bar to pair with my onn roku tv. It worked when I first set it up however now it says there is no signal for the sound bar. I have tried to refresh the CEC devices but still Says no signal. I get no sound. The cord is plugged into the HDMI ARC I'm not sure what else to try since I've also done a factory reset on the TV as well.

Re: onn soundbar to onn roku tv

@Cheriepie

Thanks for the post.

Have you tried switching out the HDMI cable used to connect the device as well as trying another HDMI port to see if you are still seeing the issue occur?

For troubleshooting purposes, have you tried connecting the Roku Soundbar to another TV to see if you are experiencing the same issue?

Please keep us posted what you find out.

Thanks,
Danny
