To make sure we're on the same page, is your Roku TV not responding to any buttons pressed on your remote? You can try re-pairing the remote and performing other remote troubleshooting steps available on this link: How do I resolve issues with my Roku® voice remote?
Moreover, you can use the Roku mobile app as a remote so you can still navigate on your Roku interface while you're having issues with your Roku TV remote.
