I've been using Live TV Pause with a usb in my tcl roku for about a year now with no problem

Now all of a sudden it will not rewind after being paused for even a couple minutes.

If I try to rewind it only goes back to a few minutes earlier than the current time.

This happens even if I just turned to the channel, pause for 10 minutes then try to rewind. It only rewinds to about 2-3 mintues before the current time.

Any idea what is going on or how to fix it?

No, I am not being prompted with an error message. It just won't rewind anymore like it used to. Even the pause doesn't work well. When I try to play after pausing, the video and audio are garbled and out of sync.

I tried to see if I could reformat my USB, but I couldn't find a way to do it in the settings. I even unplugged the USB and unplugged the TV for a while. Then turned the TV back on and plugged in the USB, hoping that it would prompt me to format, but it didn't. I also tried to reformat my USB using my computer instead, but it says that it is write protected and won't format. Did my Roku tv cause the USB to be write protected?

I sure hope this problem can be fixed. The ability to rewind and pause live TV is the main reason I bought a Roku TV.
