It really depends on your expectations and whether you personally think it is worth it. Budget level TVs are budget level for a reason. They use cheaper components that aren't as reliable and usually cut corners on the smart features and abilities. You can search here in this forum and elsewhere online regarding people complaining about issues with a number of budget level TVs, including Onn. Based on what I have read, there seems to be a lot of complaints about the reliability of the backlight and screens with Onn. I am not saying that you will get one that won't be reliable nor am I saying you will get one that croaks in 6 months. That's the gamble with cheap electronics in general. It you break down the cost of the components inside, it is hard to believe they make any money off the TVs, unless they count on the advertising revenue to supplement what it costs to make, so they cut corners with components where they can.
