I have a 55" TCL Roku TV in US. I plan to move to India permanently.
1. Will my TCL Roku TV work in India if I have internet connection ? I will use a step down transformer for the voltage. 2. Are there internet based channels in India? I watched Indian TV channels on Sling TV on my TCL Roku TV in USA. 3. Is it worth to take my TV there or sell it off here in US?

Roku will work in India. But not all channels will. Basically Roku is officially supported in certain regions (but works worldwide), but give Channel Developers the option to support channels outside those regions. I don't see a Jio TV app based on Google Search. Yupp TV does. I would go to their site and ask them if they support their Channel in India. India is not officially a supported region.
TCL TV should work in India..they are sold here as well. Roku is not launched in India yet..It depends where you are moving to & what is broadband speed in that place.I have subscribed for a service with 250GB data a month & speed of 100 mbps ( this surely comes at a price ). Anyway I use Roku stick for watching Netflix & it works very well.. not so for Amazon Prime Videos (for which I use Amazon Firestick ). We don't have Sling or Hulu here. There are lot of DTH service providers like ACT,TataSky, Airtel,Reliance, Videocon & others.I watch my BBC, CNN,HBO Comedy Central, Nat Geo, ESPN,AXN, Star Movies + Regional Hindi,Tamil & Malayalam etc on TataSky in HD..no problem at all !!!
