Checked, Japan Olympics theme is not on.  That’s not the problem.  Thanks though.

Re: Soundbar crackling and buzzing

So, the solution per the email from support is to turn the bass off.  Yes that takes of the crackling..but also removes any use of the bass, do I have that correct?  Tried different cable and port with no effect.

Re: Soundbar crackling and buzzing

Having the same exact issue.  Just purchased the sound bar a few weeks ago from Best Buy.  Contacted Roku support via a ticket and included my serial number.

I read another recent comment in this thread that Roku support said to disable bass.  I did this and it does seem to fix the issue but sounds absolutely flat and awful.  Not what I wanted when I was spending my money on this product.

Does anyone know if the Soundbar Pro has this issue?

Re: Soundbar crackling and buzzing

Yeah add me as a new one to this thread too. Ive only had the streambar for about two months and it’s started crackling with every app a couple weeks ago. Now it’s getting louder. Tried all the resets recommended. Frustrating

Re: Soundbar crackling and buzzing

I have a Roku Streambar (model # 9102R, serial # YL00FC864082) that has developed crackling, buzzing, and popping recently.  It did this on all channels, as well as while being used as an internet speaker.  This is the second Streambar this has happened to; the first one I threw away as I figured it was a blown speaker.

I tried restarting the Streambar, unplugging it overnight, and deleting and re-adding channels.  These didn't help.  Turning off the bass helped somewhat.  I've just reset factory settings, and this has helped for using the Streambar as an internet speaker for Spotify.

Has anyone come up with a solution for this problem?  If not, I have been in the Roku ecosystem for so long, are there better options for internet TV--Apple TV, Chromecast, Amazon?  It seems like there is a manufacturing or software problem with the Streambar.

I'm having very bad sound quality from my Roku Streambar.  I've only purchased this unit since May 2021 from Target.  The speaker cracks and pops.  And bass sounds becomes easily distorted.  Can anyone suggest how I can fix it?  Or warranty replacement?  Thanks.
