Where is Netflix Shortcut on Home screen

Jump to solution

I have 43" Roku TV by Roku and today my Netflix shortcut is gone. I can use the Voice command or search to open it yet, no visible shortcut.

Welcome and thank you for posting here in the Roku Community, @Elliott-78212!

We appreciate you reaching out for support and we'd be happy to help you determine the cause of the lost Netflix app's shortcut on your Roku TV.

When you add/install channels on your Roku TV, it will automatically show up on your Home screen. With this, it may be possible that the Netflix app is in between these channels. If you want to see the Netflix app first thing when you power on your Roku TV, kindly follow the steps provided:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Press OK or the right button on the directional pad to access your channel list. The directional pad is plus-shaped and is in the center of your Roku remote.
  3. Using the directional pad, highlight the channel tile you wish to move
  4. Press Star on your remote to open the Options menu
  5. Select Move channel
  6. Move the channel and press OK on your remote when you are satisfied with the new location

Note: When you move a channel tile, the change only applies to the Roku device you are using at the time. Changes do not sync to other Roku devices on your Roku account.

Furthermore, some remotes that came with your Roku TV have a Netflix shortcut button added directly on the physical remote.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Best regards,
Carly
