Videos not playing and screen shows pink pixelated screen with image from previous app

Jump to solution

Whenever I try to load certain apps (Apple TV+ and Netflix as of now) my screen shows a pink/pixelated screen showing the screen from a previous app (YouTube TV in this case) and does not play sound. Some apps work fine but some are suffering from this issue. I'm using a TCL TV with Roku operating system.

@epring

Thanks for the post.

The issue you are experiencing may be related to a hardware issue.

Have you tried contacting TCL support yet to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support for their products running the Roku OS.

You can reach them here: https://support.tclusa.com/televisions or at 1-877-300-8837.

Thanks,
Danny
