Unplug Roku smart soundbar

My Roku smart soundbar seems to be very warm, almost hot in the center on top, above led. Even overnight it doesn't seem to cool down as its plugged in all the time. It's plugged into the wall outlet which the light switch controls. I'd like to turn off the switch each night and give the soundbar a little rest. Is this acceptable and non damaging to the unit? I'm afraid it will eventually overheat, even when not in use. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks 😊

Re: Unplug Roku smart soundbar

Roku and other CE run hot when active (e.g. streaming), so its to be expected.

Turning it off each night wont be an issue, aside from being inconvenient to you.
