I have two Roku TCL TV's that were both set up with live TV pause enabled with two Sandisk ultra 16GB USB drives. Both USB drives have failed to be identified by the TV in the last couple of days. When I remove the drive from the TV and try to format it in a Windows PC, windows cannot format the drive. Any ideas what is going on?

Hi @SarcoGuySA,
Welcome, and thanks for posting to the Roku Community!
We understand you are having trouble with your TCL Roku TV, which failed to recognize your USB drive, and we appreciate the steps you took to resolve the issue.
Some powered USB hubs require a specific “order of operation” to work correctly. If, after following the instructions provided with your USB hub, the USB drive is still not recognized.
We suggest trying the following methods:
Method 1:
- Connect the USB hub to the USB port on the powered-up Roku device
- Turn on the power to the USB hub
- Connect the USB drive to the USB hub.
Method 2:
- Connect the USB drive to the USB hub
- Turn on the power to the USB hub
- Wait 10 seconds
- Connect the USB hub to the USB port on the powered-up Roku device
