TV Remote buttons are doing other actions

My IR Roku tv remote buttons are doing other actions... my previous button is turning off the Tb and my Hulu button goes to Movies & TV. Need help ASAP

Please contact your TV's manufacturer directly to report this issue and request additional support. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS. 

If you need a replacement remote for a Roku TV, you would need to contact your TV manufacturer. For a list of Roku TV manufacturers contact information, visit our Community post here: Contacting Support for Your Roku TV

First thing I'd try is restarting the Roku TV. 

If you can manage to get enough control with the remote reset via Settings > System > Power >System restart

If controlling via the remote is hopeless, try pulling the power plug for a minute or so, then plugging back in.
