My Roku TV will connect to my iPhone Hotspot with Excellent Signal Strength. I can see all the channels I have set up and can open all of them except Netflix and Roku. When I try to open Roku Channel, screen pops up with a circle in the boxes as if it's starting to open but appears frozen and never shows all the station/movie choices.
When I switch from Hotspot back to WiFi everything works fine.
I have been using my Hotspot for over a year with no problems. This started about a week ago. I have deleted app, restarted app, reset factory settings, updated app, etc.
Also, my Roku iPhone app no longer connects to the TV. I suppose this is all related.
