My 75” 2018 TCL Series 6 TV screen occasionally dims down about 90% when a screen has most of it covered in solid color, especially blue or yellow. It seems like it’s overloading the circuit or something and goes into a protection mode? Typically it’s a tv commercial with a solid colored background and a little text or less over it. It doesn’t happen often, but it has for some time now. I’ve paused the screen when it does this to try different settings and found when I take it off of “movie” mode and put it to “normal” mode or any of the other screens in the “Picture Mode” menu, the screen brightens back up. Has anyone had the same issue, and if so, is there a workaround?
