TCL Roku pitch warble, wow and flutter

my TCL Roku TV has had this really weird quirk since new. the audio will occasionally (every 30-45 seconds) lower in pitch slightly. Listening to music, the audio 'goes out of tune' for like a second. by about half a semi-tone. i have perfect pitch so it's actually quite bothersome and I've never heard a TV do this before.

it's similar to listening to a warped vinyl record (not not periodic in timing)

I'm using built in speakers

Re: TCL Roku pitch warble, wow and flutter

Hi @moraa2,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

We're glad to assist you with your problem with audio with Roku TV. We'd like to know more about the problem that you are experiencing. Is this happening on all contents or channels, or is this isolated to one content or channel? Are you getting any error messages or error codes while playing content? Can you please check the volume level and mute settings on your TV using your remote? With more details, we will be able to assist you further. Meanwhile, you can try to restart your system by going to Settings > System > Power > System restart (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step) and see if it works.

We'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,

Eunice
