55P605 user here. Everything up to date.
Amazon Prime HDR content is extremely dim and dark.
I had to go to secret menu to turn off HDR.
HDR seems to work great on Youtube.
Btw, @all , I think part of the reason it took so long and bad communication is because I just found out today, tcl is no longer partnered with Roku. As of this year, there will be no need TCL-Roku tvs. Any new TCL tvs that are released are gonna be running Android

That’s a plus in my book.
I should have waited a year. This relationship is toxic. I like the Roku interface, I like the TCL tv, but literally every update breaks something new
My Hisense Roku TV has just stopped displaying HDR on Prime video.
Works fine on other platforms, Disney+, Netflix and BBC iPlayer.
+We waited four months for our fix
Same thing happens to my hisense roku tv
Thanks for the post.
Have you made sure that the content that you are trying to stream is in 4K?
Please keep us posted.
Thanks,
Danny
Yes. This problem only happens in prime video app. HDR does not work. It makes the colour awful.
They still haven't fixed it. No 4k or hdr from Amazon Prime app on TCL Ruku TV.
Amazon Prime app works great on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
