My TCL ROKU TV (65S405) has been stuck in version 9.00 Build 45. I have tried to update through the internet and found the version unchanged after reboot. I have then factory reset and connect to both wireless/cellphone hotspot, both returned to a fresh start and version still remains in 9.00. I then tried flash with USB and still to no avail. Now my ROKU TV is just a TV.
What's the issue? Is it software or hardware? What's your experience dealing with TCL in this regard? It's weekend and couldn't get through to the customer support.
Check this page and see if there's a more recent version you can download and install via USB. The Roku TVs are the only Roku devices you can update in this way.
