Streambar in Hisense tv sound goes out but wireless speakers work

Got a streambar and the wireless speakers are connected and working. Noticed the sound on the actual streambar has no sound coming out. Optical cable seems to be in ok.

using a Hisense tv. Is there a particular setting in Audio Out I need to set?

@Plainbagel200

You are connected via Optical cable, rather than HDMI/ARC?

It should simply work. There may be a setting on the TV for where the audio output goes, although if the speakers are working, since they connect to the Streambar, you should be getting sound from the Streambar.

A troubleshooting step would be to shut down the speakers and see if the Streambar has sound. That should narrow down if it's the TV or not.

Can I use both the hdmi arc and the optical cable at the same time or does that confuse the tv?
