Installed my Roku Streambar with my TCL (non-Roku) Television. It has an HDMI (ARC) port. The television has "T-Link" settings for connected CEC devices. "Roku Soundbar" appears in the settings.
The Streambar outputs audio beautifully, when streaming content through the Roku interface. However, I can't get any other content input to the TV to play audio through the Streambar. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks.
Try restarting the streambar through the settings menu of the roku, then refresh the T-Link devices in the tv menu and see if it changes anything?
Thanks for your response. No, it doesn't change anything.
Hello @MWJ
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community!
For further assistance, please reply here with the serial number/device ID of your Roku Streambar. It can be located within the Roku interface by navigating to Settings > System > About.
We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
All the best,
Kariza
I have a similar issue, but with a specific cause. When I stream anything on Netflix (not other apps) the audio output for the television is disabled, but still works on the streamer. Audio clues for the television menu and all audio for other inputs doesn't work. Resetting the Roku fixes the issue, but it is annoying having to reset the roku streambar every time I watch anything on Netflix.
