When browsing my vudu movie selections, the streambar pro will sudenly display a black screen. I can view the movies available by moving cursor to left, right, up and down one by one. Sometimes screen will fill in and then go black again as soon as i move cursor over movies again. I have over 700 movies in my library, but i cant get past around 300 previews listing before screen goes black. It's like their isn't enough internal memory to handle it. The older roku units were equiped with SD slots to alleviate this problem, but not the top of the line streambar pro?
The microSD card wouldn't alleviate this problem. It's only used for channel storage (so it doesn't have to continually download the channel/app code from the Roku server), not to add memory for channels/apps to use while running.
I don't use Vudu, but is there a way to organize your movies into folders or categories so that it's not trying to load all 700 at once?
