Speeding though few seconds

I recently had an issue where when I turned on my Roku TV, the screen was black for quite some time. I turned my tv off and on a few times, but it was still black. After that I unplugged it and plugged it back in. From there the start up was laggy the first time but fine after that. Though, I have noticed something with all of my streaming apps. Youtube, Hulu, Netflix, whatever, will speed though the first 2-5 seconds of the videos. This includes ads as well. I’ve tried turning it off. I’ve tried unplugging. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Speeding though few seconds

@Dragon0blood

Thanks for the post.

Have you tried contacting your Roku TV manufacturer support yet to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support for their products running the Roku OS. For a list of Roku TV manufacturer contact information, visit our Community post here: Contacting Support for Your Roku TV

We would also recommend trying to perform a factory reset on your Roku TV to see if that resolves the issues you are experiencing with screen display. For more information about how to perform a factory reset, visit our Support page here: How do I factory reset my Roku® streaming device?

Please keep us posted.

Thanks,
Danny
