I recently had an issue where when I turned on my Roku TV, the screen was black for quite some time. I turned my tv off and on a few times, but it was still black. After that I unplugged it and plugged it back in. From there the start up was laggy the first time but fine after that. Though, I have noticed something with all of my streaming apps. Youtube, Hulu, Netflix, whatever, will speed though the first 2-5 seconds of the videos. This includes ads as well. I’ve tried turning it off. I’ve tried unplugging. Any help would be appreciated!
Have you tried contacting your Roku TV manufacturer support yet to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support for their products running the Roku OS.
