Soap opera effect on model 55R4AX

Jump to solution

I purchased model 55R4AX and cannot get rid of the soap opera effect. There is no motion smoothing option. How can I get rid of it?

The odd thing is I have cable set up with one of my HDMI outputs and there is no soap opera effect at all. When I go into apps via cable there is also no soap opera effect so I know the tv is capable of no soap opera effect.

Hi @superlisaj,

Thanks for the inquiry!

Please be advised that not all Roku TV models support Action Smoothing, Action Clarity, and LED Motion Clarity. In addition, your model might use a different name for these options. Refer to the manufacturer of your Roku TV system for details.

We hope this helps.
