Screen on but no display?

Jump to solution

I've just moved house and I'm baffled as to what's happened. Plugged the TV into an extension lead and it worked perfectly fine, logged into the new WiFi and all was well.

Then I changed the extension lead it was plugged into. Now the TV turns on, the remote works and the TV clicks with each button, I can load up netflix and it plays the correct sounds etc - but the TV is displaying nothing.... The LEDs are on, the screen flicks on when I power it up, but they're all completely and evenly black. No physical damage to the TV. I have tried with other extension and plugs, all the same.

Help??????

Welcome to the Roku Community, @tauolu1!

If you have a Select, Plus, or Pro Series TV made by Roku, you can contact Roku support directly or find product-specific information online.

For a Roku TV made by any other manufacturer, use the links below to find setup and troubleshooting help and support contact information.

When contacting the TV manufacturer, you may need your TV model number. If you cannot find this information on the back panel of your Roku TV, use your Roku TV remote and go to Settings > System > About.

We hope you'll find this information useful. Please keep us posted if there's anything else we can do to assist you.

Kind regards,
The Roku Community Team
