Hello roku streambar opens up the now app and then you press play movie and then say unable to play video all other apps ok I have done hard reset and quick reset installed new app repeated that about 6 times and left router off I have wire Ethernet connection contacted now and internet company all says nothing wrong on there end it is very confusing but seems it is getting blocked

Thanks for the post.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to the channel provider directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on that channel (app), it is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.

Hello thank you for replying it’s a weird one it’s like it’s being blocked tryed everything I don’t think it’s the roku it plays  everything else I think someone has hacked it and blocking the Mac number of that device or it’s now app I have contacted them now and they say they have technicians looking into it but heard nothing from them chase them up they say they get back to me more than a week now really slow to sort it out I may take it back and change for a new one. Before that though I had the now app only now app when working going on and off disconnecting from internet and reconnecting only that channel again like someone is controlling that app on the roku    Then I reinstalled it and now it don’t let you sign in being blocked by someone thanks for trying to help
