I have a 2016 model year Hisense 4K smart tv. For some reason my streambar pro won’t recognize ARC. I have gone through and checked and double checked that my arc was turned on and set up correctly in the tv settings. I have also made sure I have the proper HDMI cable and still nothing. I was forced to use the optical cable which I really didn’t want to do. Anybody else have this type of issue and a way to solve? Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I’m usually pretty savvy at this stuff, I’m stumped.

Can you please provide the serial number of your Roku device from Settings>System>About? I'll be able to assist you further from there.

Unplug the optical, with the HDMI attached to the arc input, refresh the hdmi-cec devices in settings of the tv;
settings> system> control other devices(cec)> search for CEC devices> ok
