Roku soundbar suddenly stopped connecting to WiFi and can no longer find network

Jump to solution

My roku can no longer find my WiFi network.  It was working last night and nothing has changed on my WiFi.  All other devices in my home are connecting just fine. I’ve tried a system restart and tried the network connection reset.  Neither worked.  Any ideas how to fix?

I don't have a soundbar but this has always worked for me on my Rokus:

  • Restart your router (even if other devices have no problem finding and connecting). Sometimes that's all it takes, if not keep going.
  • Restart the Roku to clear its memory via Settings > System > System restart (for a Roku TV it's Settings > System > Power > System restart). Again sometimes that's all it takes, if not keep going.
  • Find and connect to your network via Settings> Network > Set up connection

If that doesn't fix it, try disconnecting the power to your Roku for a few seconds.  When it comes back up, see if you then can set up the network connection.

This exact same thing happened to me, last night, March 29 at around 8:30 pm EDT. Both Roku devices say they aren't connected to the internet, even though all non-roku devices are fine.   Trying to re-connect, restart, all failed
