My remote is not changing anything on my TV. I have tried changing the batteries and that doesn't work. I noticed that the streaming bar was getting real hot. Could that have something to do with nothing being able to change on the TV screen by the remote?

It seems like you are asking two separate questions in your post.

Second, are you experiencing an issue with your actual Streambar aside from warm temperature? Are you seeing any warnings of your device overheating? We would recommend checking out the information provided by our Support page here:

What should I do if the red light is on or I see a “Your device is overheating” warning?
