Just got a Roku TV last week and haven’t had any issues with it, then out of no where this morning, the remote started acting funny and now it won’t stop scrolling and I can’t use it on my TV. I had to download the Roku app to use it as a remote, but would like to be able to use my remote itself. Any help?

I'm in the same boat, just bought the TV a week ago and had to download the mobile app to get anywhere past the scrolling, very frustrating

Same issue...disgusted! Has worked with my TV for past two years and now scrolling. Can't select any option. Have tried everything everyone else has tried...all attempts failed. My TV is ROKU compatible. Really worn out on "tech" issues. AND please don't tell me to call Samsung...they could care less. Tired of poor customer service and "tech" issues that never seem to get resolved.
Hi @DogsRule
We're here to help!
Please send us the Roku device serial number associated with the affected remote. It can be found at the back or underneath the device itself.
All the best,
Kariza
Same thing. My simple remote all of a sudden has a mind of its own. Won't stop scrolling. I've tried everything suggested, new batteries, restarts, unplugging the device, etc. It's like playing roulette trying to get it to stop where I want it to.
I finally just ordered another one off ebay or one of those buy sell pages and it works perfectly
