If connected by bluetooth yes, to use my Bose speakers I have to connect them to my phone and then use ‘private listening’ in the roku app. Fair warning it’s an unreliable workaround as the app will randomly disconnect
The WIISTAR MINI HDMI Audio Extractor, at Amazon for $12.99, is the only extractor I have found that will work with ROKU. I have purchased several brands that do not work.
