We have a 56" Hitachi Roku 4k TV. It's a little over 2 years old and Ina second home, so it doesn't get used very much. All of a sudden I turn the TV on and the screen stays backlit, no picture, but you can hear the remote clicking sounds. I've restarted via the reset button on the back and the screen comes back on saying Hitachi then it foes back to him just being backlit. I've unplugged it and let it set, plug it back in and the same thing happens. If I wait about 24 hours I can turn the TV on and it goes to the setup screen like it's a new tv. I go through all the promps it re-downloads all the apps and it works fine for a few hours and starts all over. It has done this over a dozen times now. I checked to see if the Roku was up to date when it was working and it is. I've called Hitachi and was told to contact Roku. Contacted Roku and never received a response. There has to be a glitched or something because this wasn't happening up until a few weeks ago. Has anyone experienced this issue before? If so how did you fix it? Thank you very much!
Thanks for the post.
Customers have reported that unplugging their Roku TV for 5-10 minutes and then plugging it back in resolved their issue.
Please keep us posted what you find out.
Thanks,
Danny
