i truly beleive this was something roku has done on purpose to try and force its customers into buying new tv sets this issue is absolutely a software update problem it literally occured all over the united states at roughly the same time frame right after the 2 updates prior to 9.2 went through its corporations being obcenly greedy is what it is
I will not buy another roku tv they only last 4 years sort of bad
Well, I've certainly seen the same happen with other TVs. Also, they aren't Roku TVs, as in manufactured by Roku. They are built by Insignia, Sharp, TCL, and many others. What goes wrong with a particular TV might have nothing to do with the Roku operating system. Yes, the OS could have an issue as well, I'm not discounting that possibility.
However, I looked through this thread and don't see any post from you stating an issue. Are you having a particular problem, and if so, what brand TV do you have? Some detail perhaps?
Dan Roku Stick (3600), Ultra (4640), Ultra (4670), Premiere (3920), Insignia 720p Roku TV, Sharp 4K Roku TV, Nvidia Shield, Windows 10 Pro x64 running Serviio and Plex on a wired Gigabit network.
