Greetings I just purchased a new Roku TV model 100012585 from Wal-Mart. When I plug it in it goes to step 2 the language setting screen but will not let me configure that setting using the remote control or advance forward. The batteries or good in remote and the led on TV responds when pressing the OK button etc. I tried resting the TV using the reset feature on back of TV with no luck. I tried everything imaginable and still no luck getting the TV past the language setup option. Should I return the TV I just bought 1 day ago back to Wal-Mart ?

Is there any chance the remote is from a stand-alone Roku and not the RokuTV? I believe it's an ONN TV and I think the remote should have ONN on it. Roku TVs don't respond to the Roku console remotes, but I don't think you'd even get a flash of the LED if was the wrong remote.
It's a RCTR2 or a RC-ALIR / RC439 .
