I have a Windows Surface Pro 5 and I'm trying to have my Roku TV TCL55R615 display 4K content on second screen.
1) I have upgraded my Display Port Adapter to a 4k one (do I really need a special HDMI cable?)
2) I've tryed all 3 inport ports on the TV, and non work
Does anyone know the advanced setting that should be used (set) for the Intel HD Graphics 620 card?
Or is there a special plugin or firmware I need to make it work.
Does anyone know the best settings this to work with or without 4K?
Any suggestion or advice from any 4K tv would help?
(TCL has been no help)
My roku tv is similar, but slightly different model. I have mine connected to my desktop pc using a DP to HDMI cable. The cable I use is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078M18G5F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Works fine and has better picture quality than standard HDMI cables. It would be nice if they would put DP connectors on the tv sets, but until then, this is what works for me. Hope it will help others as well.
