Roku TV (TCL65R625) and Vizio 5.1 Atmos SB636512-F6 Soundbar Connecting Issues
When I turn on the Roku TCL and load the YouTubeTV app, the sound thru the Vizio Atmos Soundbar is fine. I am running the latest HDMI 8K cable out of the TCL via HDMI-ARC to the Soundbar.
When I switch to HBOMax, Disney+, Apple+ (or really any other app) the sound thru the soundbar cuts in and out or is not there at all. If I go back to YTTV, the sound is fine.
If I unplug the soundbar (AC) while on any other app but YTTV, I get sound from the TV. When I plug the Soundbar back in, the sound is fine even when switching to other apps that did not work before. When I turn the TV off and back on again, I have to go thru the same "fix."
Quite frustrating. I have tried changing the audio output but does not seem to make a difference.
