I have a 2014 Roku TV. Then original remote was damaged last winter and I bought a new one from Amazon. It works but why does it drains the batteries every week?
The previous remote’s batteries worked for years before we had to change them.
Is there a fix for this?
Hey @upandbalminess
Thanks for posting here in the Community!
Please be advised that remotes for Roku TVs are manufactured directly by the TV manufacturer. We would recommend reaching out to their support team to report the issue and get help.

All the best,

I bought a Voice Remote directly from Roku via Amazon. I did not say that the
original remote
was
not working.
Thanks for the follow up.
Have you tried contacting from whom you purchased the remote to see what they can do regarding your remote issue to see what assistance they can provide?
Please keep us posted.
Thanks,
Danny
