Hi, 

my device is also not showing the Airplay and HomeKit option at all. What can be the cause (actually it was a Christmas gift (writing this on behalf of my wife now))? It was generally bought for this option (and additionally bluetooth which also doesn’t work despite being paired and connected, just no sound). Some posts are suggesting contacting you with ids etc. So here they are:

Device: Roku Streambar

Serial: YL0082274976

Model: 9102EU

OS version: 9.4.6 build 4007-195

I’ll appreciate any help, also with bluetooth (all typical settings and setup checked, appa like netflix working fine with sound etc. TV is connected via hdmi and optical cable. All our devices are iOS based so just airplay would be enough but since it’s not working bluetooth properly working would help at least.

I'm not sure why there has to be such a long investigation.

It seems the 9.4.6 release simply removed Airplay completely.
So can't it just be put back in?

I agree, customer support that I’m dealing with on this matter seems to be going around in circles... or buying time?

Same here, bought it mainly to Airplay/connect phone through Bluetooth. 

@RokuDanny-R 
I have until the end of January to return the item. Do you think this can be resolved by software update before then? Your customer service tells me the Bluetooth Channel feature is not available in Ireland, what are the chances Airplay will share the same fate?

Thanks, any update on this? Any chance for the software update with Airplay and Bluetooth before the end of January? Would love to keep the Streambar and well, stream something to it.

No update.

They just asked for an issue ID in my support ticket.
Which is pretty irrelevant in this case in my opinion. Airplay is simply missing as a feature in this firmware release and it's not some obsure bug that suddenly occurs under specific circumstances.

I have returned my one. 
Even if the Airplay/Bluetooth option gets restored with a future update, I’m not prepared to risk it being wiped by updates that will follow. 
The lack of comment/update from Roku sealed the deal.

Yes, I can understand. The lack of support/communication is really frustrating.
