Hi everyone
I purchased a new Roku Streambar and the first one I connected to my TV would start up with the 'bouncy Roku' screen and then immediately go in to standby.
Pressing the reset button doesn't do anything and the above repeats.
I returned it and have now received a second Streambar and that is doing exactly the same.
Has anybody else seen this and know of a fix?
A couple of things to note:
- I tried the Streambar on a different TV and it did the same
- I swapped out the HDMI cable to no effect
- I put fresh batteries in and again, no effect.
- The first and second boxes have a sticker on them - 'Retail Display Unit Do Not Sell'. I assume these aren't dummy boxes and if they were they wouldn't even power up.
I purchased this off a retailer through eBay and their customer service has been great so unless they have a bad batch I have no reason to believe anything suspicious is happening.
If anyone can help me out please that would be great.

It appears you got a hold of some Roku Streambars that were not intended for retail sale/purchase. We would be more than happy to look into this issue for you.
