Roku Streambar Pro - App Crashes and Constant "Updates"

My new Roku Streambar Pro is exhibiting frustrating behavior:

  1. Signing out of the application and requiring sign-in again
  2. Every time it signs out, it is predicted by a forced app update immediately prior: it's acting as if each application is out of date (sometimes once or more per day, despite all the apps being installed fresh this week)
  3. Less certain, but the device may also be occasionally crashing

Additional Background:

  • The device has always been up-to-date (version 10.0) and began exhibiting this behavior immediately after installation
  • I've had the device installed for three days, and most apps have signed out and forced me to sign in again daily or more often
  • I own a number of Roku devices, and the behavior exhibited on the Streambar is not "normal" or consistent with the other devices

Thanks for the post.

Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? What channels are you seeing this occur? Have you tried removing those channels, restarting your device, and then adding the channels back again to see if that resolves the issue?
