Roku Soundbar stream Bluetooth and watch TV at the same time
I am considering buying a Roku model 9301R Soundbar to pair with my TCL Roku TV. I understand that the bluetooth is activated through the TV app.
My question is this: Once I begin streaming from my device to the soundbar, can I then watch a different channel on the TV (youtube app, for example). If so will the alternate channel sound come from the TV speakers without interrupting the bluetooth stream to the soundbar?
I often watch sports with the sound down and also have music streaming at the same time.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Roku Soundbar stream Bluetooth and watch TV at the same time
Hi, @wardhorn
Thank you for your inquiry.
To clarify, when you enable the private listening feature on the Roku mobile app, you can stream audio from your Roku TV directly to headphones or a selected speaker only. This feature is designed to enhance your viewing experience by providing a more personalized audio option.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask!
Thanks,

Re: Roku Soundbar stream Bluetooth and watch TV at the same time
I have a similar question. I am waiting delivery of a Roku TV Wireless Soundbar 2023 to pair with my 65" Pro Roku TV. I often watch a sporting event through TiVo with the sound muted while listening to Alexa streaming local radio to listen to the local sports announcer. I'm able to sync the action with the Alexa sound by pausing the Tivo video until the sound from Alexa catches up. Will the Roku Soundbar play the Alexa streaming sound while I watch video through the TiVo without TiVo sound?
