My JVC Roku Smart TV will not connect to my Centurylink router (C1000A). It only seems to connect after doing a first time setup after a factory reset. There shouldn't be a problem with distance as the router and the TV are in the same room. I've tried all of the basic solutions such as restarting the device and router, changing wifi channel, and disabling network pinging. I've tried turning an old router into an access point and the TV wouldn't connect to that either. The TV has no problem connecting to other networks though as it can connect to hotspots without error. I've contacted both Roku and Centurylink, but neither could solve the problem. Any help would be appreciated!

After a full factory reset (under Settings / System / Advanced ) - it connected and is working fine.
Exact same problem.

Provider: Centurylink DSL (Denver)
Router: Actiontec C1000A
Roku product: Roku 3810X Roku Streaming Stick+
Roku software: 9.2.0 build 4807-50
The Roku will connect fine to other Wi-Fi networks.
The Centurylink modem has 5 other devices connecting to it fine, Apple and Windows laptops, iPhone and Android phones, and an android tablet, no problems.
The Roku just sits there at the "Wireless" step and never gets to the "Internet" step of connecting.
Things that did not work:
WiFi Security changes -- W
* Wireless security completely off (!!) did not work
* Wireless set to WPA2-Personal AES only - did not work
* Default security setting WPA / WPA2 - did not work.
WiFi radio changes:
* Set to 802.11n only - did not work
* Set to 802.11b only - did not work
* Disabled "Aggregation" - did not work
* Manually setting Wi-Fi channel - did not work.
If anyone finds a workaround, please post in this thread. I'll do the same.

Ypur answer not clear. Did you reset system settings on your PC?
Didn't work at all
I am having the exact same problem with the exact same router. During initial setup of the TV I connect just fine and can watch TV for hours. But once I turn the set off and turn it back on the screen reads "not connected" and I cannot reconnect with the Wi-Fi even after typing in the password again. The only way I can use my TV is to do a complete factory reset every time I want to watch it. Neither CenturyLink nor rokku personnel seem able to help me with this. I even returned the TV and got another one and it has the same problem. I'm so frustrated I'm about to return the TV and not own a TV. Has anybody been able to figure this out yet?
The solution here worked for me 1st time. https://community.roku.com/t5/Network-Wireless-Wired-Connections/Error-code-14-50-during-network-set...
