Hello! We have a Roku Premier Plus and actually have our computers and TV hard wired - no wifi in the house as I am sensitive and get awful headaches. We recently got a Roku Premier Plus that is hard wired to our high speed ethernet modem and works great. The only problem is the headaches have been on overdrive so I used my Meter to test and it was OFF the charts!!! Even hardwired and when I set it up I did not choose the wifi option - it's emitting RF at an obscene amount. Does anyone know how to disable that capability? We do not have a Smart TV - it's an older flat screen that still works great and is not RF emitting. I test that without the Roku and it's fine, plug the Roku in and BAM...my meter is reading the "Extreme" level, yikes! Thanks in advance for your help..just want to get back to these regularly scheduled watching trends without the massive headache.

I should also mention that I chose this model and ordered it from ebay because someone told me it was HDMI/ethernet capable and did not have wifi but..obviously it's still emitting RF very high..forgot to mention about the older model...

The premiere plus comes with Wifi remote, throw it away if you need to, replace with universal remoter with Roku code, it will control your Roku by IR. Then go into settings:

settings> system> advanced system settings> device connect> disable.
