I have been using a Roku TV (32s3700) to watch shows and has been working just fine. I recently decided to use it as a secondary monitor for my macbook (pro 2019) and plugged it in using an HDMI cable. It works but the display quality is pixelated and compromised. The text, specifically is difficult to read. The display works pretty good otherwise if I just use default apps and NOT as a secondary desktop.
The issue is not with the HDMI cable as I tried three different cables and the problem is also not with the Macbook as I have tried two different macbooks.
I also tried different picture settings in Roku settings but there is no significant improvements.
