Pbs app is not working keeps crashing.

PBS app isn’t working. Screen goes grey then pops back to the main screen

Try removing it, restarting, and adding it again:

  • Highlight the app on home screen.
  • Press * on your remote and choose "Remove app".
  • Perform a "System restart" to clear its memory from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (as appropriate)
  • Reinstall the app

We've been watching the PBS Frankie Drake Mystery Series via ROKU but lately when I click on the next episode the sound/dialogue from the prior episode comes on and when I arrow back it tells me to restart...but I can't end the sound from that prior episode.  I have never had any problems with watching these PBS series before....what gives?

We understand you are having trouble streaming with the PBS channel on your Roku device. We'd be happy to investigate this further.

May we know if:

  • Have you tried removing the channel you observed this issue on from the Roku home screen? Then, restart your device. Once it loads up again, add the channel and try playing content again, as provided above by @renojim.
  • Do you observe this behavior while using any other channel(s) on your device?
  • Could you please verify if the issue you are running into is when accessing the PBS standalone channel or through The Roku channel?
  • What specific steps have you taken so far to reproduce the issue you are seeing?

With more information, we'll be able to assist you further. Please keep us posted on what you find out.
