Onn soundbar and Onn ROKU TV how to use

The audio went out on my Onn Roku tv but i get audio with the apps that are on the tv (netflix, tubi, etc). Since i want to watch my dvr i decided to use my Onn BLAST 16" 2.0 soundbar. Everything is connected properly but there's no audio.

Update to my prior question. I got the soundbar working, but...i still don't have ANY audio when using my DVR. That's frustrating because i use the DVR more than anything else.

Thanks for the posts.

Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? You stated that the audio went out on your Roku TV but works when using the apps, when is the audio not working?

How are you connecting the DVR to your TV?
