No connectivity after recent update

I have had a TCL Roku TV 4 about two years. we have never had any connectivity issues other than from our internet company before. Two days ago the TV updated to 9.2.0.4502 version and ever since it will not connect to the internet on wired or wireless. Went through every setting and test I knew as I'm an electrical technician, but nothing worked. Finally resorted to a factory reset. Immediately the connectivity for the internet both wired and wireless began working once setup was complete. Next night auto update happened and same problem again. Was forced to factory reset AGAIN! Please tell me there is a patch for this update or a workaround so I don't have to keep setting up my entire TV and re-downloading and logging into all of my channels every single morning!? Am I the only one?
