New to Roku, have several basic questions

Hi, I just purchased a Roku TV and am not tech savy.  I have several basic questions.  Do I still need a cable box to stream?  Also, can I stream channels like CNN, the same it would appear on cable or Dish?  I am unclear about how the pricing would work.

Re: New to Roku, have several basic questions

Many cable channel apps are part of TVEverywhere, and full access is tied to your video subscription with your cable/satellite service. Some may have separate subscriptions, but many still do not. Some of the news networks (CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC) do have free news apps, but again, often with limited access. Live feeds may require a TV service subscription (CNN does, ABC, CBS and NBC do not.)
