There were several channels added to live TV recently that are not simple streaming channels, but load up an interactive interface. This causes problems for people with disabilities. The main reason I chose a Roku TV for my Mother was because it could be configured to act as a simple old fashioned TV - you turn it on, it goes straight to a live TV channel, you click up and down to switch channels, you turn it off then you're done. Several of these new channels create a trap for my Mother- she changes channels, lands on one of these channels and can't get out of it - changing channels again does nothing.
You need to add an option in the Accessibility settings to automatically disable all interactive channels in the live TV channel list. I was able to work around this by laboriously going through all of the channels and hiding the interactive channels. This will be fine until you add some more interactive channels.
