After the recent Roku update on my Smart Soundbar I've had trouble with the Netflix App launching.
Repro
1. Attempt to launch Netflix using the remote Netflix button or via the UI app
2. The screen goes black but Netflix doesn't launch, and you never get the Netflix starting logo
3. Restart the Roku Smart Soundbar
4. Attempt to launch Netflix using the remote Netflix button or via the UI app
5. Netflix Launches
However, this happens over and over. The only solution is to restart the Roku
I've made sure all the application software is up to date and uninstalled/reinstalled the Netflix app.
Any suggestions?. Is there a way to go back to a previous SW release to see if the issue is with the latest Update?
You didnt mention your Roku firmware version or NetFlix app version (these matter, and are different for different models, no way to know if they are "up to date" without them).
The correct procedure to reinstall an app on Roku:
1) Remove app
2) Restart Roku (Settings/System/System restart/restart) <-- MUST DO THIS HERE
3) Re-install app
Otherwise, try manually checking for updates (Settings/System/System update/Check now).
