Just got a new Roku TV and have a Bose TV Speaker soundbar connected via ARC.
When I power off my TV and leave it off for hours, when I turn it back on it’s not detecting the soundbar. I have to then go to System > Advanced Settings > System Restart for it to start working again.
I replaced a 50” Roku tv with a 43” Roku TV and this started happening. I have fast start turned on.
I'm having the same problem connecting my Onn Roku TV with a Bose TV Speaker Soundbar. I have to do a system restart every time I turn it on. Soundbar is connected to the HDMI ARC port. CRC is also enabled for the soundbar. Did you ever find a solution?
Exact same set-up and issue here. The weird thing is that the Bose turns on when I turn the tv on, but it's not recognized for audio. If I turn the Bose off and on with the Bose remote, or go into CEC on the Roku TV and let it find the Bose, it starts to work. But as soon as I turn them off, it happens again. It would be nice for someone from Roku to chime in with a solution.
How are you're turning them off? Is either device losing power? Like plugged into switched outlet?
No the soundbar and Roku are fully synced and plugged into a standard wall outlet. Soundbar is plugged into the HDMI (ARC) as directed.
