I recently moved from Tennessee to Alabama.
1. In the move, the ROKU remote control for my TV was lost
2. And now, I have a new internet provider and new WiFi
3. I have had the RoKu remote control app downloaded to my iPhone for a couple of years.
How do I get the TV to connect to the new WiFi without the remote?
Thanks for the inquiry.
Please contact your TV's manufacturer directly to report this issue and request additional support. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.
If you need a replacement remote for a Roku TV, you would need to contact your TV manufacturer. You can contact TCL here:https://support.tclusa.com/televisions or at 1-877-300-8837.
You can also purchase a remote that is compatible with your Roku TV here: https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/roku-tv
Thanks,
Danny
Can't be done unless you can remember the SSID and password of your old Wi-Fi access point and you can set up your new AP to match the old one. It's probably easier to just go to and big box store or even a dollar store and find a universal remote. I'd imagine the cheapest remote would support a TCL TV.
Sorry but you can't, it needs a remote initially to set the internet network and password. If you haven't factory reset the roku, you could try changing the network and password of the new wifi router to match the old.
