The volume on my insignia/Roku tv, paired with roku wireless speakers is noticeably lower after the 9.3.0 update on May 6, 2020. The volume used to be fine at 3, but now has to be set to 10.
Thanks.
Kevin
Hi everyone,
Please be aware that volume scaling was adjusted in the newest OS 9.3 to provide a better curve for volume with Whole Home products. This was an intended change that will give more control over the lower volume ranges.

Thanks for the post.
Can you please answer the following for us so we can take a deeper look into the issue:
-What is the serial number and operating system of your Roku TV (this can be found in Settings > System > About).
-Does this issue happen on all channels?
-Is there specific content that this happens on?
Please keep us posted.
Thanks,
Danny

Good evening — I noticed the same thing after my TCL 65” Roku TV updated to 9.3.0 just last night (May 30).. Volume levels on wireless speakers distinctly lower on all programs. Previously I had never had to have volume level higher than 7 or so for any program (other than Netflix) — after 9.3.0 update, volume level must be turned up to 16-17 for comparable volume level. Would also indicate a lower maximum volume as well — it’s clear the latest update did “something” to the volume levels of the wireless speakers. Although sound “quality” still far superior to TV speakers, sound “level” needed to adequately hear programming now about the same. Most would probably not see this as a “favorable” change.
Thanks for the post.
